International Rescue Committee - RefugeeCorps AmeriCorps Program

The International Rescue Committee RefugeeCorps AmeriCorps Program is a national service program coordinated by International Rescue Committee, Inc. (IRC), located in New York and funded by the Office of Refugee Resettlement. The program places 16 AmeriCorps members in 16 IRC offices across the United States.

RefugeeCorps AmeriCorps members will serve in King County at the local IRC office in Seattle/SeaTac. Service responsibilities include educating clients on the U.S. healthcare and social service systems, mapping community assets, and helping assess a client’s health and wellness needs. Members also help with managing volunteers for the ICM program.
