Intermountain AmeriCorps’ (IMAC) service delivery area is large and rural, covering over 12,000 square miles in their four-county service region. The project is guided by a commitment to community service, teamwork and collaboration across school districts and several community organizations throughout North Central Washington (NCW) state.
The Service and Education Team – also known as the SET team – members serve all age levels, anywhere from Kindergarten to senior citizens, in the communities of NCW. The common goal is to improve the basic and essential skills of those they serve. Participation in these projects enables agencies, school districts and non-profit organizations to develop support systems, expand organizational capacities and share best practices. All project activities are designed to encourage leadership, responsibility and a strong service ethic among participants.
