The Nature Conservancy

Conserving the lands and water on which all life depends, is the mission of The Nature Conservancy. We strive to build a world where people and nature thrive. We work to meet these ambitious goals by focusing on 4 key areas: Tackling Climate Change, Protecting Land and Water, Providing Food and Water Sustainably and Building Healthy Cities.

22 AmeriCorps members spanning across the United States aid in working toward the Conservancy’s goals. Specifically, 3 members will be serving in Washington state at our Cle Elum and Wenatchee locations to help build our capacity to engage people with nature through outreach and volunteerism.
