AmeriCorps NCCC (National Civilian Community Corps) is a federal, national service program for 18- to 24-year-olds that strengthens communities and develops leaders through team-based national and community service. AmeriCorps NCCC partner with organizations across the country to meet community-identified needs while developing volunteers personally and professionally.

AmeriCorps NCCC is pleased to announce our 2026-2027 availability and application information. If you know of organizations or communities who may be interested in applying, please share this email with them.
- AmeriCorps NCCC 2026-2027 Request for Proposals (RFP) includes an overview of the AmeriCorps NCCC program and our upcoming available dates and application deadlines.
- To submit, email your complete Service Project Application materials to NCCCProjectApplications@AmeriCorps.gov by the appropriate due date.
- Please consolidate your application into as few attachments as possible.
- Your full application should include, at minimum, (1) the completed and signed application itself, (2) an orientation agenda, (3) a training plan, and (4) a work plan.
Webinars to help with applications
AmeriCorps NCCC plan to host application webinars leading up to due dates. Webinars will cover an overview of AmeriCorps NCCC, recent updates and changes, training & technical assistance for completing the application, and time for Q&A. If you are considering applying by April 23 – the first set of project dates in our RFP – we encourage you to attend. Both webinars will cover the same content, and AmeriCorps will provide a recording to everyone who registers.
- Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 12 p.m. Pacific Time
- Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 8 a.m. Pacific Time
AmeriCorps NCCC strengthens communities and develops leaders by deploying teams of 8-12 young adults to address critical community needs. We partner with nonprofit organizations (faith-based & community-based), government entities (federal, state, and local), public schools and universities, and Native American tribal councils. There is no fee for service.

Application cycle considerations
- If you have flexibility within an RFP application cycle, note this flexibility in your application and prepare your application for your preferred set of project dates.
- If you are considering requesting a team in multiple RFP application cycles, submit a separate application for each cycle by the appropriate due date.
- If you have priority considerations (e.g. you intend to request both a spring and fall team in RFP application cycles 2 and 3, with spring being your priority), note those considerations in your applications.
