AmeriCorps State/National and VISTA Funders Forum in Wenatchee

We invite you to a Funding Forum on Tuesday, June 25th and Wednesday, June 26th, 2019 in Wenatchee, WA.

The Alaska/Washington State Office of the Corporation for National and Community Service will discuss funding opportunities for AmeriCorps State/National and AmeriCorps VISTA resources!

AmeriCorps is a network of national service programs, made up of three primary programs that each take a different approach to improving lives and fostering civic engagement. Members commit their time to address critical community needs like increasing academic achievement, mentoring youth, fighting poverty, sustaining national parks, preparing for disasters, and more.

• Do you need to build capacity at your organization?
• Do you have a special project that you have been dreaming of that you know will have a positive impact on the community and you just need a key person to help get that done?
• Do you need a team of individuals to deliver direct services that are not currently being met in your community?

Please join us if your organization or agency is in need of volunteers to help meet community needs!

Info sessions will cover AmeriCorps funding opportunities for nonprofit organizations, tribal entities, and public agencies and will include tips for designing a strong application.

Office hours will provide an opportunity for hands-on support from CNCS staff to help you develop concrete ideas for using national service resources to meet the needs of your community. Office hours are available in 60-minute increments and should be booked in advance.

Those interested in attending office hours are encouraged to first attend an info session.
