What: CERT Train the Trainer Course
This three-day course provides participants with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to instruct the Community Emergency Response Team(CERT) training that prepares citizens to assist in emergency response activities in their local community.
This class is a requirement to be a recognized CERT instructor in Washington. See www.ready.gov/cert for Washington CERT standards.
Target Audience
Program trainers or coordinators knowledgeable of the CERT program, are committed to serving as instructors in their community and are willing to be included in a statewide instructor database.
Prerequisites
(1) Referral from CERT Sponsoring Agency
(2) Completion of CERT training (Online or in-class training)
(3) Endorsement by State CERT Coordinating Agency
(4) Endorsement by Local Program Manager
Registration
Interested participants must complete and submit an application no later than Tues. Feb. 1, 2022. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Class size is limited to 30.
