What: This 3-day course provides participants with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to instruct the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training that prepares citizens to assist in emergency response activities in their local communities The class is a requirement to become a recognized CERT instructor in Washington.
Target audience:
Program trainers or coordinators with knowledge of CERT who are committed to serving as instructors in their community, and are willing to be included in a statewide instructor database.
Prerequisites:
(1) Referral from CERT sponsoring agency (typically a local, regional or state governent agency)
(2) Completion of CERT Basic Training or IS-317
