EarthCorps

EarthCorps’ AmeriCorps program is a full-time service learning program dedicated to developing environmental leaders who change the world. The program combines relevant environmental education with ecological restoration projects that include habitat improvement, invasive species removal, native re-vegetation, erosion control, stream and shoreline stabilization, wetland and near-shore work, as well as trail, boardwalk and bridge construction. Ongoing site monitoring and stewardship are important parts of this work. Leadership development is also a big component, and is woven throughout all the field work and program elements.
