Extending Wellness 2021 - Opening Session

Serve Washington is hosting the Extending Wellness series of interactive workshops for AmeriCorps and VISTA members. This series of virtual workshops will be facilitated by Care Capacity Coaches: Jeff Birdsall, Danielle Fowler, Antonio Rodriguez, and Ginlin Woo, who will guide members in deepening self-care practices and strategies for addressing:
- Presence and navigating change
- Care capacity and community connection
- Resiliency and service wellness
- Balance and grounding
The series is designed to bring AmeriCorps members together in large group sessions for the opening and closing sessions. In between the opening and closing sessions, weeks 2 and 3 offer four sessions on various wellness practices with the individual facilitators. These are repeated at different times over two weeks so that members can participate in any or all of the sessions of their choosing.
