Jumpstart

Jumpstart is a national early education organization working toward the day every child in America enters kindergarten prepared to succeed. Jumpstart's mission is to provide language, literacy, and social-emotional programming for preschool children from underserved communities and promote quality early learning for all.  Each year, Jumpstart mobilizes and trains thousands of college students to partner with preschool children in low-income neighborhoods. Jumpstart has two AmeriCorps National Direct sites at Seattle University and the University of Washington. In addition to its presence in Washington, Jumpstart is located in 15 states plus the District of Columbia.
