More than 1.5 million Washingtonians volunteered during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Volunteers and community helpers selflessly gave their time and talents to help strengthen their communities in 2020. Serve Washington recognized and celebrated these efforts by collecting and sharing stories of service during the following year’s Global Volunteer Month (celebrated in April). Through this international emergency, the volunteer story project was born.
Volunteers perform service every day that helps strengthen communities and we want to continuously highlight it and we invite you to share your service experiences with us on our Volunteer Story Blog!
