Responsive Volunteer Training Series: 6 Tips for Inclusive Volunteerism

As leaders in the nonprofit space, we have a unique opportunity to break down barriers and help connect communities from all walks of life to engage in a shared purpose. In this training, we will share simple ways to maintain an equitable volunteer program that cultivates a healthier, more level playing field for all. As communities evolve, so too must volunteerism. Join us and learn how you can meet the moment and build at stronger, more diverse team where everyone wins.  

 You will learn how to:  

• Make the connections between inclusivity and ethical volunteer management practices  

• Set concrete goals for volunteer diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives  

• Pinpoint and remove barriers to welcoming volunteers from diverse walks of life  

Target Audience: AmeriCorps program staff, volunteer center staff, volunteer management/recruitment staff, human resources/hiring managers, anyone whose duties involve diversity, equity and inclusion activities
