Volunteers want to be equal partners in your mission delivery. At the same time, they need to do so within the limits of your organization’s policies. With the right leadership approaches, applied at the right time, you can keep everyone happy, all while reducing your own anxiety and stress.  

 In this training, you will learn practical tactics to help you foster a committed, enthusiastic volunteer workforce that helps you save time and meet your goals. Yes! You can involve volunteers and have fun in the process.  

 You’ll come away knowing how to: 

 • Leverage volunteers’ true talent effectively with better matching  

• Delegate tasks effectively using a simple step-by-step process  

• Boost accountability with individual appreciation and confirming feedback 

Target Audience: AmeriCorps program staff, volunteer center staff, volunteer management/recruitment staff, program managers, human resources/hiring managers, anyone whose duties involve diversity, equity and inclusion activities
