Sea Mar Community Health Centers AmeriCorps Program

The Sea Mar Community Health Centers– AmeriCorps program is a national service program that places members in different positions where they can provide services directly at Sea Mar.

Members will provide services for eleven months and will receive a living stipend, as well as an educational award at the end of their service. Other benefits include health insurance and, if you are eligible, childcare assistance. Members gain experience for future careers in healthcare. All positions at AmeriCorps require fluency in the English language, and fluency in a second language is preferred, such as: Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, or Russian. (Note: Not being fluent in a second language will not disqualify your application for certain positions.) Members must be 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or a GED, and must be citizens, legal permanent residents of the United States.
