Gov. Inslee proclaims March 12-18 AmeriCorps Week

OLYMPIA--Gov. Jay Inslee has proclaimed March 12-18 as AmeriCorps Week in the state of Washington.  

AmeriCorps Week recognizes the valuable contributions of AmeriCorps members and AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers who pledged to “get things done” for our nation as part of the annual celebration.

During the 2022-2023 service year, there will be 23 AmeriCorps programs across the state spread among 21 organizations. These programs will place 1,490 members in hundreds of service sites to help address critical needs in communities.
