Your nonprofit story is much more than jargon and numbers. A great story engages emotions, triggers imagination and can spark creativity. Your nonprofit may only be working in one small corner of one small town, but for the people you serve, your work is life-changing! In order to engage donors and supporters, you’ll need to speak directly to their hearts and minds – and the best way to do that is with a great story!
In this two-hour workshop participants will learn the basics of nonprofit fund development and storytelling. By the end of the workshop participants will be able to:
•Re-examine fundraising practices through a racial equity lens
•Identify 3 components of a powerful nonprofit story
•Systematically acquire new volunteers & supporters
•Diversify revenue streams
