United Way of King County Benefits Hub

Education can be a pathway out of poverty, yet there are racial and socioeconomic disparities in college completion rates. United Way aims to increase college completion rates for first-generation students, students of color and student parents through the 'Bridge to Finish' campaign. Through the 'Bridge to FInish Campaign,' we partner with ten community and technical college campuses throughout King County where our Benefits Hub AmeriCorps teamsconnect students to essential resources such as emergency grants, housing support, tax help, food pantries and financial coaching.

We aim to be proactive and accessible offering services in person and virtually, in multiple languages and at convenient hours.
