Washington Service Corps

The Washington Service Corps, WSC, is a state-wide intermediary that places members in both individual placements and teams with partner organizations.

WSC partner sites can be found in nearly every county across the State of Washington. It engages AmeriCorps members in service with local community-based nonprofit and government organizations to address unmet local needs of communities in which they serve. The pogram includes projects with a primarily focus in: Disaster Preparedness, Environmental stewardship, Healthy futures, and Economic opportunity. Additionally, WSC can partner on special projects meeting the unique community needs that fit into any AmeriCorps focus area. The WSC program offers non-profit organization partners a training ground for enhancing their ability to serve their communities and increase their organizational competence.
