Washington Climate Corps Network teams up with Path to Positive to offer climate ambassador training

The Washington Climate Corps Network, WCCN, in partnership with Path to Positive, will be offering a free, virtual,climate ambassador training. The training takes place from 9 a.m. to Noon Pacific Time on Oct. 31. The training will be held via Zoom. This training is open to all Serve Washington program partners and anyone interested in learning about climate change solutions.

The training is designed to equip community members with the knowledge, hands-on experience and resources to speak and act confidently on climate change solutions topics. Participants will learn how to lead presentations, communicate effectively and invite others into climate action.

Topics include:

The case for climate action and climate basics
Impacts to local communities and climate justice
Climate solutions and benefits
Communicating on climate
Advocacy and engagement
Making a difference as an ambassador
