AmeriCorps, the federal agency for national service and volunteerism, released a notice of funidng opporutnity for the fiscal year 2023 Volunteer Generation Fund grant. These grants are intended to help organiztions develop and grow thier abilty to recruit, manage, and support volunteers.
This webinar will provide an overview the FY 23 Volunteer Generation Fund notice of funding opportunity. It will nclude information on program and budget. Attending this session is not necessary for you to apply to a VGF grant, but it may help you better understand the technical aspects of applying.
Note: AmeriCorps is administering the grant, but organiztions don't have to have a connection to an AmeriCorps program to apply. Indian Tribes, higher education institutions, local governments, K-12 schools, non-profit organizations, school districts, state service commissions, states and US Territories are all welcome to apply.
